November means dogs & dinosaurs @ EPL!
Woof woof! Rooaarr! We're celebrating DiNovember and Wolfenoot this month, so if you love dogs or dinosaurs--or both--you're in for a treat.
First, we're kicking off the month with Dino
Dig with the Strakas on Nov. 2 at 11 a.m. Depending on when you read this, you may be able to grab one of the last seats if there are any left (or if there are last-minute cancellations). Call 610-965-9284 or stop by and ask. If the event is full, you can still enjoy the monthly 'block party' and a new art exhibit up in the children's wing.
Then, join Miss Sue to write dinosaur stories Nov. 13, and 'Have a Howly
Wolfenoot!' with a dog-themed storytime Nov. 22. What's Wolfenoot, you say? It's a worldwide holiday, started in 2018 by a 7-year-old boy in New Zealand, that celebrates 'The Spirit of the Wolf' and people who love wolves, dogs, and kindness--which is why we're holding a donation drive this month for The Sanctuary at Haafsville, a
safe haven for homeless cats and dogs.
Finally, don't miss the cute overload at the monthly Books & Barks with the Lehigh Valley Therapy Dogs Nov. 21 (a week earlier this month due to Thanksgiving). Bring your favorite books or go with one our picks and make a furry friend super happy!
