The 5th annual Tee Time is a wrap!
Thank you for joining us at Tee Time last weekend! We truly appreciate your support and hope you had a fun time playing mini golf in the stacks. Not only are the funds raised through sponsorships, ticket sales, and raffle sales crucial to the library's budget, but the outpouring of community support is truly amazing. From businesses big and small, to creative students, to dedicated board members, staff,
volunteers, and all the residents who turned out, everyone's contribution made Tee Time a big success. Whether you helped organize, made hole decorations, attended, cleaned up, or cheered us on, we’re grateful for your contribution. We'd like to thank our generous sponsors one more time — you’re the best! See you next year...

If the advent of warmer days has you dreaming of tending to your garden and growing healthy food all summer, come in for free seed packets to get it started! Tucked away in the drawers that used to house our card catalog, you’ll find seeds for tomatoes, corn, spinach and beans, to name a few, thanks to a generous donation from foodtoflourish. Choose up to four packets and simply take them to the front desk with your library card. Easy peas-y. If you'd like to donate seeds, you can bring in sealed retail packets, or seeds from your harvest in a sealed packet, labeled with the seed name and date collected.

February private-funding update
The private-funding thermometer rose by $4,103 in February, bringing the two-month total to $11,223, or 7.3 percent of the goal. Tee Time was the biggest component, with sponsorships, ticket sales, and sales of raffle tickets totaling more than $2.5K, with annual fund donations and general gifts adding another $500. Sales in the Friends' Book Nook added $600 last month. Finally, cash
receipts of roughly $250 for printing/copying, room rentals, damaged items, etc., rounded out the total. Speaking of the Friends, please mark your calendar for their biggest fundraiser of the year, the Friends of EPL Used Book Sale, coming up April 25 & 26. It’s a great way to support the
library while picking up some great books, DVDs and puzzles for all ages at bargain prices! The book sale will be held at the library again — which will be open for regular business on those days as well. Check out other ways to show your support for the library throughout the year — including gift or memorial books, volunteering, and more.

What makes something worthy to be painted? For each artist, it's a different thing that attracts their attention and calls to them. For Wendy Stoudt, it's color combinations, dramatic lighting, or peaceful atmospheres. Her new ART@EPL exhibit, on display in the children's wing, showcases those very things. Read more
about Wendy's work here and stop in to see her beautiful paintings on your next visit!
