We're excited to welcome award-winning author Lesa Cline-Ransome, joining us Jan. 16 via Zoom to talk about her new book, One Big Open Sky.
Lesa is the author of 25 books for young readers, including the award-winning Finding Langston trilogy. Her work has received a multitude of honors, including NAACP Image Award nominations, a Coretta Scott King Book Award Honor, the Scott O'Dell Award for
Historical Fiction and a Christopher Award.
Her latest book, written in verse, tells the story of three Americans moving west in the Black Homesteader movement of the 1870s.
